For the recovery of combustible/conductive dusts you need a vacuum cleaner/dust collector specifically designed for these applications (ATEX Category 1 or 2)
In the presence of combustible/conductive dusts, as per ANNEX II of ATEX 1999/92/EC, you need an ATEX Category 1, 2 or 3 vacuum cleaner/dust collector.

A: Zona 22
Lugar donde hay una atmosfera explosiva ,en forma de nube de polvos combustibles, no susceptible de presentar un funcionamiento normal, o , si lo presenta al menos , no serà que de muy corta duración.
B:Catégoria 3, tal como los define la norma 94/9/CE
Los aparatos de esta càtegoria estan destinados à una utilizàcion dentro de zonas donde hay atmosferas explosivas debido à los gases,vapores niebla,mesclas de aire y polvo, son poco susceptibles que se produzcan, o, si lo hacen son susceptibles de hacerlo raramente y por muy poco tiempo de duracion.

MRP - Manual Reverse Purge System
The Manual Reverse Purge (MRP) System allows the operator to not have to open the vacuum cleaner in order to clean the Cartridge. By opening the Reverse Purge Atmospheric Pressure Release Valve the Cartridge is automatically purged of dusts. This Purging System reduces maintenance down time.
The Manual Reverse Purge (MRP) works by :
1 - Closing the slider on the opening to block the suction intake orifice for approximately 5 seconds while the vacuum is running.
2 - Then quickly open Purge Valve. Air is now flowing via the valve through to the filter.
Keep Purge Valve open for 1-2 seconds then close (repeat above steps 2 or 3 times).
Reverse Purge System will cause dust to fall off of the filter.

SD* - Static Dissipative
All stainless steel construction (except cart). This unit is available with an optional upstream true HEPA (H14) Filter with housing. This unit is static dissipating and conductive (Category 3 - Zone 22 (Dust)) and can be used for general maintenance. This unit cannot be used to recover conductive or combustible dusts. This unit is equipped with a static dissipating Reverse Purge Cartrdige and Manual Reverse Purge (MRP) system. This unit is also equipped with a maintenance free, beltless side chanel blower with a 25000 hour lifespan. The 3-phase motor is fully enclosed in a protective cabinet. This unit can be used for general maintenance in hazardous locations. Equipped with a disposable filter bag for the easy and safe disposal of recovered materials. All of our HEPA vacuum cleaners are DOP Leak Tested before leaving our facility.
MRP - Manual Reverse Purge System
The Manual Reverse Purge (MRP) System allows the operator to not have to open the vacuum cleaner in order to clean the Cartridge. By opening the Reverse Purge Atmospheric Pressure Release Valve the Cartridge is automatically purged of dusts. This Purging System reduces maintenance down time.
The Manual Reverse Purge (MRP) works by :
1 - Closing the slider on the opening to block the suction intake orifice for approximately 5 seconds while the vacuum is running.
2 - Then quickly open Purge Valve. Air is now flowing via the valve through to the filter.
Keep Purge Valve open for 1-2 seconds then close (repeat above steps 2 or 3 times).
Reverse Purge System will cause dust to fall off of the filter.

TC - Tilting Cart
Many of our vacuum cleaners are equipped with a tilting cart for easy maneuverability and for quick disposal of recovered materials. A lever located on the the cart allows the recovery drum to be tilted backwards without having to remove the powerhead. Tilting carts are available in stainless steel or powder coated.
